PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the adhesion of the front part and the rear part of a body part to a wearer and facilitate the wearing property of an absorbent article in a pants-type absorbent article. SOLUTION: This absorbent article 1 is provided with a front-part elastic member 43 and a rear-part elastic member to be joined with the body part in a part between a trunk-part elastic member 41 and leg-part elastic members 42, so as to improve the adhesion of the front part 201 and the rear part of the body part 2 to the wearer. The front-part elastic member 43 has a first elastic fiber group 431, a second elastic fiber group 432 and a third elastic fiber group 433 including two elastic fibers respectively. The distances DL1 and DL2 between the mutually adjoining elastic fiber groups are larger than either of intervals DS1, DS2 and DS3 between the mutually adjoining elastic fibers. When wearing the absorbent article 1, the fingertips of the both hands deeply catch an interval between the elastic fiber groups to firmly grasp the body part 2.
