The vehicle seat has upholstery support arranged as wire frame with an outer contour wire (1), at which longitudinal wires (2) are supported towards drive direction of rear and front side. The support frame has three supporting wires or supporting pipes (3,4,5) running traverse to the drive direction, on which the rear, center and front sections of the longitudinal wires are supported. The front supporting wire (5) is connected with the center supporting wire or supporting section or the rear supporting wire or supporting section by other wires (6).
