摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible overwrite characteristics at a high speed with storage reliability. <P>SOLUTION: This optical recording medium 10 has at least an upper dielectric layer 12, a recording layer 14, a lower dielectric layer 15, a sulfurization preventing layer 16 and a reflective layer 17 which are provided on a substrate 11 sequentially from the direction of incidence of recording and reproduction light. The recording layer 14 is constituted of Ga<SB>x</SB>Sn<SB>y</SB>Ge<SB>z</SB>Sb<SB>w</SB>(0&le;x&le;7, 13&le;y&le;20, 0.08&le;z/w&le;0.2) and the lower dielectric layer 15 consists of the mixture of zinc sulfide and silicon oxide and has a film thickness of 1-6 nm, while the reflective layer 17 consists of an Ag alloy and has a film thickness of 160 nm or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
