摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device usable suitably and widely not only when hydrogen and oxygen are produced efficiently from water by a photo-electrochemically decomposing method using sunlight but also when organic matter is photolyzed or a compound to be photoinduced is synthesized. <P>SOLUTION: The device is constituted so that two or more flow passages 2 are formed in a substrate 1, an electrically conductive layer 4 and a photocatalyst layer 3 to be formed thereon (which are also called a photocatalyst layer 3/electrically conductive layer 4) are formed like a belt on the inner wall of the flow passage 2 along the flow passage 2, the electrically conductive layer 4 and an active catalyst layer 5 to be formed thereon (which are also called an active catalyst layer 5/electrically conductive layer 4) are also formed like a belt on the inner wall on the side opposite to the photocatalyst layer 3/electrically conductive layer 4-formed side along the flow passage 2 and both ends of the flow passage 2 (2a or 2b) are connected respectively to an inlet 7a or 8a and an outlet 7b or 8b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
