PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle situation detection system, an in-vehicle situation detector and an in-vehicle situation detection method, capable of detecting precisely an in-vehicle situation. SOLUTION: This in-vehicle situation detection system has an irradiation device 105 for irradiating a plurality of irradiation areas different each other on at least one seat in a vehicle and in the periphery thereof, in different times within a prescribed time, an imaging device 104 for imaging an occupant or an object on the seat in the every irradiation of the irradiation device 105, and a control computation circuit 112 for comparing a plurality of images picked up by the imaging device 104, and for generating information indicating situations of the occupant and/or the object, based on a comparison result.
