PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preceding electromagnetic phenomenon detection device for detecting pulse-like static electricity generated for a short period of time, at a foreboding time of an earthquake, swinging a metal wire right and left, performing the detection by a detection instrument, performing notice by a buzzer or a light source, and capable of performing similar notice, even if the metal wire is dropped. SOLUTION: This preceding electromagnetic phenomenon detection device has characteristics wherein a magnet is provided in a case body, and the metal wire swung by electrostatic induction caused by the charge generated before the earthquake occurs, is hung from the magnet, and the detection instrument in which the metal wire detects the swinging is provided.
