PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable support member for cabinets for housing electric/electronic apparatuses whereby cables can be wired via openings without causing a slack by forming the openings to side faces of the cabinets adjacent to each other, in the case of connecting the cabinets for housing electric/electronic apparatuses together. SOLUTION: The cable support member is configured such that the length of a cable support plate 2 fitted at its rear part to each of a pair of mount rails for apparatus fitting arranged to both inner sides of openings of each cabinet freely opened/closed is selected, so that both ends of the cable support plate 2 are pressed into contact with or located in the vicinity of the inner face of the outer wall of each cabinet, and notches 3 for cable insertion are provided to both the ends.
