<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile station, a base station, and a method of controlling measurement of peripheral cells, which can control the intermittent reception/transmission while reducing consumption of wireless resources. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile station is provided with a means of measuring a wireless channel state, a means of averaging the wireless channel state for a predetermined period of time, and a means of switching a mode to a measuring mode to measure a different frequency and system in response to the averaged wireless channel state. A base station is provided with a means of averaging a wireless channel state notified by the mobile station for a predetermined period of time and a means of switching a mode to an intermittently transmitting mode to carry out intermittent transmission in response to the averaged wireless channel state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
