PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of reducing errors in determining the quantity of a refrigerant even if temperatures of objective spaces air-conditioned by the air conditioner differ from one another. SOLUTION: This air conditioner 1 for adjusting temperatures of the objective spaces comprises a refrigerant circuit 10 and a control portion 8. The refrigerant circuit 10 is constituted by connecting a compressor 21, an outdoor heat exchanger 23, indoor expansion valves 41, 51 and indoor heat exchangers 42, 52. The control portion 8 adjusts the temperatures so that the objective spaces have prescribed temperatures. Further the control portion 8 determines the quantity of the refrigerant of the refrigerant circuit 10 on the basis of at least one of the refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant circuit 10 and an operating state quantity of component equipment. The control portion 8 brings a state satisfying a prescribed temperature condition of the temperature of the objective space before determining the quantity of the refrigerant.
