PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch cover assembly with a wear compensation mechanism, having a higher degree of freedom in design. SOLUTION: The clutch cover assembly 1 comprises a clutch cover 2, a pressure plate 3, a diaphragm spring 4, and the first wear compensation mechanism 9. The first wear compensation mechanism 9 has an annular first adjusting ring 91 arranged for abutting on the pressure plate 3, an annular second adjusting ring 92 to be movable relative to the first adjusting ring 91 in the axial direction while being rotated relative thereto, and a return spring 90 for elastically connecting the first adjusting ring 91 to the second adjusting ring 92 in the rotating direction.
