PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine plant system and method for remodeling the same capable of efficiently operating a high moisture gas turbine even in a region where it is difficult to secure sufficient water. SOLUTION: This system is provided with high moisture turbine facilities 1 including a compressor 3 forming compressed air by compressing atmospheric air, a combustor 6 providing combustion gas by fuel and compressed air from the compressor 3, and a turbine 7 providing power by combustion gas from the combustor 6, exhaust heat recovery boiler facilities 100 heating water by exhaust gas of the gas turbine facilities 1, water forming facilities 200 distilling seawater to refine water by steam from the boiler facilities 100, a compressed air humidifying device 4 supplying part of water refined by the water forming facilities 200 and heated by the boiler facilities 100 to compressed air from the compressor 3, and a regenerator 5 heating compressed air humidified by the compressed air humidifying device 4 by exhaust gas of the gas turbine facilities.
