PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in coupling efficiency caused by wavelength variance in respective laser luminous fluxes, in multiplexing a plurality of laser luminous fluxes within an optical fiber, in a laser beam multiplexing adjusting apparatus. SOLUTION: For the purpose of converging a laser luminous flux emitted from a semiconductor laser on the end face 30c of an optical fiber 30 through a collimator part 15 and an optical converging part 20, a relation is obtained between the wavelength of the laser luminous flux and the optical path length from the semiconductor laser transmitting this laser luminous flux to the collimator part 15. By referring to this relation, respective target optical path lengths H1-H7 are obtained according to the wavelength of respective laser luminous fluxes B1-B7 that are emitted from the semiconductor lasers LD1-LD7. Then, in the manner that respective optical path lengths from the respective semiconductor lasers LD1-LD7 to the collimator part 15 is made to coincide with the target optical path lengths H1-H7, the position of the respective semiconductor lasers LD1-LD7 for the collimator part 15 is adjusted to multiplex the respective laser luminous fluxes B1-B7 into the optical fiber 30.
