PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for analyzing an air pocket capable of obtaining an accurate analysis result on the presence or absence of an air pocket existing in a box-shaped work to be coated constituted of the inner bottom face with a convex part formed thereon. SOLUTION: The device for analyzing an air pocket is comprised of a calculation means which divides the image data of a work to be coated into a plurality of elements, subsequently gives attribute information on a liquid or a gas to each of the split elements, carries out an analysis of the generation of an air pocket by comparing the heights of the elements, and carries out the correction of the air pocket detected as a result of the analysis on the basis of direction and the correction of the same on the basis of height.
