PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain spray coater capable of preventing liquid drops from dropping in coating and stably performing the coating for a long period of time when coating a material to be coated with a coating liquid by using the curtain spray device. SOLUTION: In the curtain spray coater in which the coating liquid discharged from a coating liquid nozzle is made to be liquid drops by an air stream injected from an air nozzle, and the coating is performed by spraying the material to be coated over the predetermined width in a direction crossing the transferring direction of the material to be coated, a recovery device recovering the air stream at the downstream side of the direction of flowing of the air stream after coating and the recovering device possesses an opening part at the upstream side of the air stream and a recovering part at the downstream of the air stream.
