摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling an ultrasonic surgical apparatus which allows easy control of ultrasonic vibration even under a condition of high load impedance. SOLUTION: When output is on, a predetermined parameter is given from a control circuit, thereby to set a value in a driving signal for driving an ultrasonic vibrator, the driving signal is increased to reach the set value, phase difference of the driving signal between voltage and current is tracked with resonance frequency to reach the set value, the frequency of the driving signal is detected when the driving signal reaches the set value to determine whether or not the driving signal is within a predetermined range, wherein the frequency detected within the predetermined range is determined to be normal to continue driving the ultrasonic vibrator, while the frequency detected out of the predetermined range is determined to be abnormal to stop driving the ultrasonic vibrator.
