PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety protection method, which defends safety in the case of collapse by a simple installation without requiring any construction such as remodeling. SOLUTION: Normally, a plurality of styrene-foam bed bases made to be a rectangular parallelepiped, having a rectangular shape in planer view and a thickness larger than a fixed value are arranged adjacently to be front and back in a line from the head side to the leg side of a sleeping person, and a bedding for sleeping, such as a mattress, is placed on it for sleeping. In occurrence of an earthquake, one of the bed bases is selected and moved relatively to the others to form an escape space for making a person escape into the space to protect the escaping person from the collapse of a house by the existence of the high bed bases.
