PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film suitable for a label that is excellent in all of shrink finish properties, adhesion to a bottle and perforation-cutting properties. SOLUTION: The heat-shrinkable polyester film is obtained by throwing a polyester resin component A, comprised of 80-99 mol% of an ethylene terephthalate unit and 1-20 mol% of a dimer acid/ethylene glycol unit, each based on 100 mol% of the constituting units of the whole polyester of the resin component A, and a polyester resin component B, comprised of 65-93 mol% of an ethylene terephthalate unit and 7-35 mol% of a neopentyl terephthalate unit, each based on 100 mol% of the constituting units of the whole polyester of the resin component B, into a separate extruder A1 and B1, respectively, to melt them, throwing the resin component A and the resin component B in a melted state into a static mixer, subsequently extruding the mixture from a T-die, cooling it to form an unstretched sheet and stretching the sheet at least uniaxially.
