PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crane reduced in the number of parts required for removal in disassembling for transport, and its automatic assembling method. SOLUTION: The boom hoist cylinder crane (10) is formed by rotatably installing upper works (12) on lower works (16), and formed by rotatably installing a boom (26) on the upper works, and has a mast (36) rotatably connected to the upper works and a hydraulic cylinder (34) rotatably connected to the upper works. A connecting part of the mast and the upper works is separated from a connecting part of the hydraulic cylinder and the upper works, and exists in a height position lower than its height position. The mast is rotatably connected to the hydraulic cylinder. The boom is connected in a state of hanging down to either of the mast or the hydraulic cylinder in a position near a connecting part of the mast and the hydraulic cylinder.
