IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REMOVING DEW CONDENSATION FROM IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove dew condensation in a simple manner on the downstream side of a fixing device in a system equipped with the fixing device for fixing an unfixed toner image on a sheet at least by heating.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming means 2 for forming a toner image on the sheet 1; a fixing means 3 for fixing the unfixed toner image on the sheet 1 at least by heating; a guide chute 4 disposed at least just behind the downstream side of the fixing means 3 and conveying and guiding the sheet 1; and a dew condensation removing means 5 for making the image non-formed sheet 1 which has not passed through the fixing means 3 move to the guide chute 4 while being rubbed in an image non-forming process.
