<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an operation load of a user in an image forming device which offers a plurality of functions. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device which has a plurality of modes, and offers different functions for the respective modes, is provided with an operation panel 20 which receives mode selection from the user, and a controller 10 which controls all operations of the image forming device so as to establish the mode received by the operation panel 20, and offer the established mode function. Moreover, the controller 10 comprises an operation history memory unit which memories data showing a received mode as operation history data at each time the operation panel 20 receives the mode selection; and a mode change discrimination unit which discriminates whether an established mode is changed or not using the history data showing a mode memorized in the operation history memory unit in predetermined timing, and if it is discriminated to change the mode, executes the mode change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
