<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus reducing dead time due to image adjustment mode to the utmost, and to improve the productivity and operability. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus by electrophotography provided with the image adjustment mode for adjusting image density or registration of a color image is provided with an input means for interrupting or terminating execution of the image adjustment mode.
