<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an embossed sheet in which a regular fine uneven pattern is formed on the surface without a defect, in high quality and high productivity, and at a high line speed. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for producing the embossed sheet, the unevenness of an embossing roller 13 surface is transferred/formed on the surface of a sheet W. The sheet in which a resin liquid layer is formed on the surface by applying a radiation curing resin liquid is made to travel continuously and is wound onto the rotating embossing roller 13. The unevenness of the embossing roller surface is transferred on the resin liquid layer. The resin liquid layer is irradiated with a radiation while the sheet is wound onto the embossing roller, and the sheet is peeled off from the embossing roller when the conversion of the resin liquid layer reaches at least 60%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
