<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate regional information suitable for a person when the person removes, and to provide this information as his or her private information via the Internet. <P>SOLUTION: An Internet terminal 1 which a user has is made to access a WEB server 3 via the Internet 2 to construct a regional information providing system allowing regional information to be browsed. The WEB server 3 extracts regional information suitable for the user from an information providing database 16 wherein regional information is preserved, and preserves the extracted regional information in a private folder 17a.
