PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a high density operation by shortening an interval of trains by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: Train information indicating length of the train is transmitted to ground from an on-vehicle device 2 and when a preceding train 1a reaches a fixed point 4a, stop position information of a following train 1b is prepared by a fixed point information transmission/receiving device 5a provided on the fixed point 4a by the length L1 of the train and a room distance L2 and position information of the fixed point 4a to transmit it to a fixed point information transmission/receiving device 5b at the outside. The stop position information is successively relayed by fixed point information transmission/receiving devices 5b-5d at the outside. When the following train 1b reaches the fixed point 4d, the stop position information relayed from the fixed point information transmission/receiving device 5d provided on the fixed point 4d is transmitted to the following train 1b and the following train 1b controls a traveling speed by a speed pattern according to a distance to a stop position corresponding to a position of the preceding train 1a.
