PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal projection apparatus which prevents the appearance of stains on an installation place by enables erasing scum stains etc. to be received without being dropped onto a floor, when contents described on a descriptive surface section with an ink pen etc. are erased. SOLUTION: In a structure of the horizontal projection apparatus, a step part 12 is provided on the four sides of a display part 11 in the central part of the top surface of the apparatus body 1 of the horizontal projection apparatus; a frame-like table part 13 is mounted in the step part 12; and the display part 11 is fitted into the frame part 14. At the four corners of the frame part 14 of the table part 13, the table part 13 is detachably fixed to the step part 12 of the apparatus body 1 by means of a bolt 16. A pen tray 18, which is structurally formed in such a shape as to be split while corresponding to the four sides of the frame part 14, is mounted on the table part 13. Since the pen tray 18 is formed like a retainer recessed by one step, the erasing scums are dropped into the near-at-hand pen tray 18 so as not to be diffused, even if the described contents are erased in an optional direction in the display part 11.
