The support has a stand (4) that is fixed to a ground (3), and an upper part (5) that is rotatably supported against an upper end of the stand. A surface structure (6) is fastened to the upper part, and provided for accommodating a solar module (7). The structure is tilted against a longitudinal axis of the stand. An axial pivot bearing (9) is arranged between a base of the upper part and a cover that covers an upper side of the stand. The upper part is connected with the stand using a screw connection for receiving an axial tractive force and an axial compressive force.
