The wheel has a hub connected with a rim by a flat spoke, where the flat spoke comprises a metallic hub connector (21), a metallic rim connector (22) and a body (10) made of fiber-reinforce composite. A spoke-sided end (211) of the hub connector is attached to the body and a hub-sided end of the hub connector is attached to the hub. A spoke-sided end (221) of the rim connector is attached to the body and a rim-sided end of the connector (22) is attached to the rim. The spoke-sided end of the rim connector and/or the hub connector is formed in a widened manner. An independent claim is also included for a flat spoke comprising a metallic hub connector.
