<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyelectrolyte membrane used at least for one selected from the group consisting of a solid polymer fuel cell, direct liquid fuel cell and direct methanol fuel cell; and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the polyelectrolyte membrane used for a solid polymer fuel cell, direct liquid fuel cell and direct methanol fuel cell comprises a step of obtaining a polyelectrolyte membrane by contacting a polymer film containing a polymer compound having an aromatic unit and a polymer compound having no aromatic unit with a proton-introducing agent, and a step of immersing the obtained polyelectrolyte membrane in water and/or an organic compound solution of ≥40°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
