摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro flow device for electrochemically adjusting the pH of fluid and a method for adjusting pH by utilizing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This micro flow device has a chamber 105 equipped with a metal capable of adsorbing hydrogen gas as a cathode 101 and a metal without reacting with water since it has a higher standard oxidation potential than that of water, as an anode 103. Gas is not produced by electrolysis in the chamber. Since the gas is not generated during the electrolysis, problems such as solution flow obstruction, flow regulation inhibition, mixing inhibition, reaction inhibition and problems caused by gas bubbles in a micro flow channel such as heat generation and substance transfer do not occur, and a gas-discharging port and separated gas-removing device are not required so as to be able to contribute to the small-sizing of the micro flow device.
