<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determin a wireless channel optimum for communication by short-time processing even under an environment wherein all the available wireless channels include a wireless LAN signal, without actual data transmission/reception in a wireless LAN system, and nor monitoring of a packet traffic volume or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An access point device scans available channels 1, 2, 3, detects a reception signal level for each of the wireless channels, determines whether a wireless LAN signal is included, receives data transmission/reception state notice information that is inserted in a beacon frame provided by another access point device to detect a data transmission/reception level at the another access point device for each of the wireless channels, and determines any of the wireless channels optimum for communications on the basis of a reception signal level detection value LV, a result AS of determining whethe the wireless LAN signal is included, and a data transmission/reception level detection value DLV for every channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
