PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow programs whose information items are described to the respective EPG data items to be handled as one and same program even when information of a program is described to a plurality of EPG data items as different information items. SOLUTION: When different EPG data acquire attributes of programs broadcast through one and same channel at a prescribed same date and time, whether the programs are the same is discriminated on the basis of at least whether broadcast times of the programs (broadcast start times and broadcast end times) are coincident or whether a degree of overlapping of broadcast time zones of the programs is greater than a threshold (e.g. overlapping of about 80%). When the programs are discriminated to be the same, the correspondence of the attributes of the programs is stored.
