摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of automatically deciding the route state section of each link in a digital road map with high accuracy. SOLUTION: High-precision sectioning is performed by using a machine learning method. Route state sections can be decided in a very short time for a large number of links by making a computer implement the method, including a step wherein (a) reliabilities of respective rule expressions are computed by applying antecedents of a plurality of links for learning, previously given route state sections, to the plurality of rule expressions based upon a previously generated template, such that a route state section is "T" when " condition A, determined based upon antecedents of a link itself or/and the circumference of the link is established " and a step wherein (b) the route state section of an object link is decided, by applying the rule expressions in the decreasing order of reliability to the object link, until one route state section settles.
