RADIATION MEASURING APPARATUS AND ITS MEASURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and accurately measure intensity of radiation and intensity distribution of the radiation radiated from a measured object such as the floor of a building and a complicated large-sized shape matter. SOLUTION: The radiation measuring apparatus 10 comprises: an ion collection means 14 provided with a gas taking-in means 33 for taking in a gas, a gas taking-out means 34 for taking out the gas and an electrode 13; a gas suction means 36 for taking in the gas from the gas taking-in means 33 by sucking the gas; a power source 17 for applying voltage on the electrode 13; a current measuring means 15 for measuring current due to ions in the gas collected by the electrode 13; and a processing means 16 for calculating the intensity of the radiation from a current value measured with the current measuring means 15.
