PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position/direction measuring system capable of calculating the designated position of the projector for projecting concentric circular pattern in a real time even in the case a lot of imaging devices or imaging modules are provided in a wide range. SOLUTION: The position/direction measuring system comprises: the projector (pointer) 2 for projecting the concentric circle pattern 1 to the object 8; a plurality of imaging modules 1-1 to 1-7 for obtaining information in a normal line direction of the concentric circle pattern by taking images of the concentric circle patterns 1; and the operational device 6 for calculating the designated position (designated point) 9 of the projector 2 based on the information in the normal line direction of the concentric circle patterns from each imaging module.
