PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant speed universal joint, capable of preventing dropping-out of an air breather from a seal plate even in a case where an axial force acts on the air breather. SOLUTION: In the constant speed universal joint comprising an outside joint member 2, an inside joint member 1 having an inside hole to which one end of a shaft 8 is connected, and a seal device 10 for closing an outside joint member opening part 32 on the anti-shaft protruding side, the seal device 10 includes a disk-like seal plate 13 installed to the outside joint opening part 34, and an air breather 14 installed to an installation hole 32 at the center of the seal plate 13. The air breather 14 includes a ring-like swollen part 19 on the inner surface side, and the installation hole 32 of the seal plate 13 has a circumferential groove 23 opened in the outer diameter direction at its periphery.
