PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that transmission efficiency is deteriorated and noise is generated during high speed rotation due to low backlash in a conventional belt transmission mechanism. SOLUTION: The belt transmission mechanism 1 is equipped with a small pulley 3, a small pulley tooth 2a formed in the small pulley 3, a large pulley 5, a large pulley tooth 5a formed in the large pulley 5, a belt 7 wound between both pulleys and a belt tooth 7a formed in the belt 7 at a prescribed pitch.
