PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower improved in blowing efficiency and low in noise by preventing the generation of a swirling current on a suction side and on an exhaust side. SOLUTION: The blower 1 comprises a rotor 3 having a hub 4 and a plurality of vanes 5 protruded from the hub 4 toward the outer periphery. A mounting angleαof the vane 5 is 66-81°, an inside-outside inclinationβof the vane 5 is 28.5-48.5°, and a suction/exhaust ratio Lo/Li of the vane 5 is 1.25-2.4. The blower 1 has a cylindrical wind tunnel 2 covering the rotor 3 at its outer periphery side. The hub 4 has an outer shape of an approximate cone, a truncated cone or a cannonball. Namely, the outer diameter of the hub 4 is gradually larger as tending progressing toward the exhaust side from the suction side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
