PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optically driven actuator having flexibility, being lightweight, and having an optical responsivity wherein it deforms reversibly at a high speed in response to a light stimulation, as well as driven soundlessly; and a simple manufacturing method for the optically driven actuator. SOLUTION: The optically driven actuator comprises a crosslinked polymer obtained by crosslinking at least a part of side chains of a condensation polymer having, in the main chain, a photoisomerizing group which induces structural change while undergoing optical stimulation, the crosslinked polymer being deformed reversibly in response to a light stimulation, to thereby serve as an actuator.
