PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EP4 receptor selective agonist for osteoporosis treatment. SOLUTION: EP4 receptor selective prostaglandin agonists represented by formula I (wherein, R<SP>2</SP>, X, Z and Q are defined) are provided. Pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds are provided. Methods including administration of these compounds and for treating mammal low bone quantity exhibiting state, especially, osteoporosis, infirmity, osteoporotic fracture, bone defection, infantile sporadic bone loss, alveolar bone loss, mandible bone loss, bone loss due to fracture, osteotomy or periodontitis, and prosthesis aberrance, are provide.
