PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing a water-barrier sheet that makes it possible to conduct roll-pressing immediately after heating leading to a sufficient adhesion without causing the water-barrier sheet to meander, preventing adhesion failure due to insufficient heating, and makes installing work easy. SOLUTION: In the method for installing a water-barrier sheet 1 by sticking it onto a wall 7 under heating, the water-barrier sheet 1 is undone from a roll 2 and inserted upward between the wall 7 and a roller 3 for roll-pressing which is hung so as to touch the wall with its axis set horizontally. The water-barrier sheet 1 is thus pressed against the wall 7 by the roller 3 for roll-pressing. The water-barrier sheet 1 keeps on sticking to the wall 7 by lowering the roller 3 for roll-pressing while heating the water-barrier sheet 1 immediately before being pressed against the wall 7 by the roller 3 for roll-pressing.
