PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a surface finish treatment method of an aluminum member which can prevent an increase of loads to the global environment and adverse affects on the human body without discharging VOC in the atmosphere and prevent a generation of pollution problems without using materials having a toxicity even in a pretreatment of aluminum, and further, produces little loss of a paint in a coating process. SOLUTION: The surface finish treatment method comprises the step of subjecting a surface of the aluminum member 1, a coating object, to a thick film anodic oxide coating treatment as a pretreatment process, and thereafter, of coating with a high-weatherproof polyester powdered paint by an electrostatic coating method.
