PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants-type disposable diaper which allows a user to raise or lower the whole diaper easily and prevents the diaper from slipping down during use. SOLUTION: When the distance between a back waist edge 15B and a position H having the minimum width is referred to as Lb and the distance between an abdominal waist edge 15A and the position H is referred to as La in the disposable diaper, the ratio of the distance Lb to the distance La (Lb/La) is 1.4-2.0. The disposable diaper has cut sections 41 and 41 on both sides of an absorbent body, waist annular elastic regions having waist elastic members 51 and 52, trunk curved annular elastic regions having a front curved elastic member 71 and a back curved elastic member 72, second trunk annular elastic regions having a second front elastic member 81 and a second back elastic member 82, and leg annular elastic regions having leg elastic members 61 and 62. When each region is extended to 1.5 times the length of its natural condition, the tensile load of each region is≤4 N,≤2 N,≤3 N and≤2 N respectively.
