The module has surface mountable semiconductor components (2) arranged on a substrate (3) to emit radiation, where a radiation angle is assigned to the components. One of the components has an optical unit that increases the radiation angle. An optical device e.g. refractive, diffractive or reflective unit, focuses the radiation, which is blended by the optical unit. The radiation is blended in such a manner that a flat color point is assigned to a given surface, which is illuminated with a luminous intensity by the module. The optical device is formed by reflecting sidewalls (4) connected with the substrate.
