The system element uses a transport device (3) with two or more rollers (4,5) supported rotatable around a suction device (2) which produces the suction stream. The ends of the relevant rollers are connected to one another through connecting belts (7a,7b) which are elastically deformable so that the system element adapts to the surface (8) of the workpiece in the presence of the suction stream. The system element is driven forwards through the torque applied to at least one of the rollers.
