The radiator has a discharge pipe (11) for heating or cooling medium, and retaining units (13) attached at the pipe for accommodating retainers that are fastened at a ceiling of a room. Two radiating plates (14, 15) are formed at the pipe, and stand at an angle to each other, where the radiating plates surround a connecting area of the pipe. The radiating plates have free ends that are connected with each other by a radiating closure plate (16), and a radiating chamber (20) is formed by the closure plate with the radiating plates and the pipe.
