<p>In order to easily give advance notice concerning up-dating information of a firmware for the operation of hardware configured in a computer system (30) with a plurality of partitions in which a plurality of OS's are operable, an advance- notice notice-information notifying method is comprised of a system system-structure structure-information memorizing means (11) for memorizing system system-structure structure-information of the hardware configured in the computer (30), and the firmware to operate the hardware and the like; an applied applying-firmware firmware-information memorizing means (12) for memorizing applying-firmware-information (42) of firmware subjected to the up-date, and its applying conditions and the like; an advance advance-notice notice-information generating means (13) for generating advance advance-notice- information from system system-structure structure-information (37) and applying the applying-firmware firmware-information (42); and an advance advance-notice notice-information notifying means (14) for outputting the generated advance notice.</p> |
