The communication apparatus comprises an ACK/NACK generating section (23) for generating an ACK/NACK according to the result of the decoding of a received signal, a quality information organizing section (22) for storing the channel quality of each communication channel obtained by a predetermined measurement processing and outputting a CQI at a timing at which the ACK/NACK generating section (23) outputs the ACK/NACK and a transmitting means (a signal multiplexing section (24) and a modulation/transmission section (25)) for transmitting the CQI received from the quality information organizing section (22) and the ACK/NACK received from the ACK/NACK generating section (23) over the same communication channel.
