<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp the largeness of a load current relative to a protective operation tap. <P>SOLUTION: The digital protection relay is equipped with an analog detection circuit 4 for detecting the electric quantity of the main circuit 1 of a power system, a central processing unit 6 which monitors and processes the electric quantity output from the analog detecting circuit 4 and executes the protective operation of the main circuit 1, a storage device 7 which records and reserves the electric quantity output from the central processing unit 6 and has the protective operation tap fixing the protecting range of the main circuit 1, an indicator 8 which indicates the electric quantity output from the central processing unit 6, and a trip output contact point 10 and an alarm output contact point 11 which are operated by the signal output from the central processing unit 6.
