MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF SILICONE CURED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicone cured product which has high hardness and transparency and is useful for an optical material and the like. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process of the silicone cured product comprises: a mixing step in which a curable silicone composition composed of two or more mutually immiscible component systems and containing (A) a polyorganosiloxane having at least one aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbon group bonded to a silicon atom in one molecule, (B) a polyorganohydrodienesiloxane having at least two hydrogen atoms bonded to a silicon atom in one molecule and (C) a platinum catalyst is agitated under shearing force given by a screw in the mixing chamber of an agitating and mixing apparatus equipped with a rotary screw so that the component systems are homogeneously mixed and dispersed; and a step in which the mixed and dispersed product obtained in the mixing step is shaped and cured before the phase separation takes place.
