GRAVITY SORTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravity sorting apparatus capable of sorting accurately and efficiently even a to-be-sorted material which has a narrow distribution of grain sizes and involves an ingredient(s) of a smaller mixing ratio with a difference in apparent specific gravity of around 1.0 and an ingredient(s) of a larger mixing ratio with a difference in appearance specific gravity slightly higher than the smaller-mixing-ratio ingredient.

SOLUTION: The apparatus has an erected cylindrical body 1 causing a liquid to pass through, a liquid-supplying section 2 supplying a liquid for sorting to the cylindrical body 1, an object material supplying section 3 arranged above the liquid-supplying section 2 and supplying a to-be-sorted material to the cylindrical body 1, an upper discharging section 4 arranged above the object material supplying section 3 and discharging the liquid ascending inside the cylindrical body 1 and a lower discharging section 5 arranged below the liquid-supplying section 2 and discharging the liquid descending inside the cylindrical body 1.
